We are a close-knit group of individuals working together to produce reliable and marketable products, such as advanced composites and many other goods. Each member possesses specialized skills in multiple disciplines, with many years in the composites arena. Some of us have Military background; some have backgrounds in Aerospace Engineering/Manufacturing, and some from Electronics or other engineering disciplines.
Wherever each member comes from, we share a common drive to build a cohesive group that can be a major player in providing effective and responsive services.

The VISION
Delta Zee Solutions is the culmination of a lifetime’s experiences of Mark Zepeda.
- Ran a materials engineering lab at Garret Turbine Engine for 7 years
- Owned a Titanium bicycle company for 10 years
- Ran two of the larger aerospace machine shops in Tucson
- Co-Founder of Raytheon’s “Bike Shop”
- Freelance consultant to large composites and aerospace companies
Trying new things is in his blood. When others opine that something cannot be done, Mark is asking, “How can we make this happen?” His curiosity is insatiable, his imagination unstoppable.
Mark worked more than six years as a co-founder of a rapid-development group within Raytheon Missile Systems in an off-site location (now known as “The Bike Shop”), which fostered freestyle approaches to their research. But their program became thwarted as word slowly leaked out about their undisclosed facility and secretive experiments.
Mark is a firm believer in Kelly Johnson’s approach (Look up his 14 rules!) to an agile and effective development group. Mark became increasingly aware of an invasive increase of bureaucracy which was hampering the ability to be a rapid response group.
In 2007, Mark left Raytheon and set out to re-create what was good about The Bike Shop, allowing him to perpetuate his unique appetite for research and development with a good dose of science and a splash of creativity. Mark is at his best when these three elements converge.

Unlike other companies, our ‘product’ is not always tangible. Rather, our ‘product’ is the vertical thinking, imagination, and creativity used to create paradigm shifts in ideas.
